Spring is coming! Plan to come to the beach

Hopefully all of the strange late season snow flurries and snow storms are behind us and we can begin to enjoy daffodils, tulips and some sunshine!

Here are some ideas of things to do in Cannon Beach or in Seaside during Spring Break.

These are organized by your traveler type or the goal of your vacation. 

Take it easy: Sleep in, beach comb, or explore art galleries and tax free shopping. Visit Haystack Rock, enjoy a drive along the coastline, see a movie at the Times Theatre in Seaside, or a play at the Coaster Theatre in Cannon Beach.  

Feeling adventurous: Drive to nearby Warrenton to glide through the trees on a zip line course, or get a view of the coast from a helicopter. If heights aren't your thing, rent a kayak and enjoy the Necanicum River. 

Good old fashioned fun: Ride the Tilt 'a Whirl, or Bumper Cars, or try your hand at the Seaside Shootout. Visit a candy shop and eat all the taffy you can! Enjoy our fire pits at Inn at Haystack Rock and the Gilbert Inn.

Foodie: Set up a cooking class at EVOO cooking school in Cannon Beach. Enjoy wine or beer tastings and fresh, local food at local restaurants.
